Once everything is ready to go, please email your submission to cfp

receive notice no later than April 1, 2008 to let you know if your

As we have a single presentation track, please bear in mind that
speaking slots are limited to one hour. While presenters typically
divide the hour into separate presentation and Q&A sessions, you may
structure your time however you see fit. If you think your

This year we've decided to try making our conference format a bit more
dynamic and present things in a way that makes it easier for the people
attending to get the info they need. Most technical talks don't require a
full 50 minutes when presented to a technical audience, but 50 min talks
are often useful for people who are new to a topic. Because of this, we
will be accepting all of our talks this year as 20 min talks and depending
on scheduling, some of the talks may be asked to be extended to 50 min.

with the community. Unlike other Cons we will not *accept / reject*
speakers. If you have something interesting to share, you WILL be heard.
The idea behind SecurityTubeCon is not to pass judgments on your work,
instead, it aims at providing a platform for knowledge exchange.
Once speakers send in their talk abstracts, we will put it online for
the community members to decide which talks they want to attend. On the
day of the conference, speakers will broadcast their talks using
screencasting software and the interested participants will tune in. The
participants will use IRC / chat rooms to ask questions to the speakers
during the talks.

We're letting you decide if you want to be a part of our 50-minute talks on Saturday, 20-minute talks on Sunday, and 75-minute talks for our Deep Knowledge Seminars on Friday depending on how much time you need to present your new ideas and techniques. We evaluate our submissions in the order that they're received so submit your talk before time runs out! Track and time preference is always given to those who submit talks that fit the theme of the conference. If you haven't already figured out what the theme for ToorCon is this year, read this paragraph another time.

TOORCAMP 2009 CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
INTRODUCTION
ToorCamp is the United State's first ever full-scale hacker camp. Modelled after the camps in Holland and Germany, ToorCamp will focus on all of the technology topics that ToorCon has become famous for but will expand out into other areas of society. ToorCamp will offer 2 days of talks on many different topics -- Security, Internet, Emerging Technologies, Hardware Hacking, and Privacy are just some of the areas we will be covering. ToorCamp will also feature 2 days of hands-on workshops on a multitude of different skills that you may have never found yourself interested in learning about before. Blacksmithing, Lock Picking, Orienteering, Logic Design, Archery -- These are just a few of the topics you can expect.
ToorCamp is run by the same group that runs ToorCon and will also be heavily supported by many other hacker conferences in the US. ToorCamp will be organized as a bunch of different campsites which will be fully run by autonomous groups. We will provide the power and internet -- you provide the rest. We're heavily encouraging groups to build structures, setup art projects, throw parties, and generally do things that will show to the world that US hackers can throw a kickass hacker camp too!
Oh, and did we mention it'll be at a Titan-1 Missile Silo? We've managed to find one of the best locations in the northwest to throw this event. We've partnered with a group of people who are currently retrofitting the Silo into an ultra-secure datacenter so internet connectivity won't be a problem. ToorCamp will be situated in central Washington roughly 3 hours driving distance from Seattle and within 15 minutes drive of a private international airport. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to make history with us and help launch the first public US hacker camp!

What is Night da Hack?
“Night da Hack” comes from a rough translation from French “Nuit du Hack”. Started in 2003 by Hackerz Voice team, and inspired by world famous DEF CON, “Nuit du Hack” is one of the oldest French underground hacking conference.
Around computer security related talks, workshops and contests, Night da Hack aims at bringing together corporate IT professionals and hackers, no matter their skill-level. They will discover the latest technical advances in this area and assess their skills.
Night Da Hack is organized in two parts. First of all, several talks from 4pm to 11pm. Secondly, midnight to 7am: a Capture The Flag contest with 10 teams of 5 challengers each. You are more than welcomed to participate.
In order to improve both quality and accessibility of this event, the 2010 edition will be for the first time open to international talks and workshops.
.: [ ABOUT ]
Rooted CON is a Security Congress to be held in Madrid (Spain) on
March 2010. Our goal is to promote security by offering highly technical
talks with a practical approach (interesant mix of theory / demos) and
neutrality (although we want businesses/enterprises to participate in the
congress, they should prioritize the technical and objective approach).
We also want people to participate and enjoy... And even come back home
with a prize! Therefore, we will hold various events (apart from talks),
PlumberCon 10 will take our approach towards security, hacking and
technological innovation a step further, therefore being sub-entitled
'Make A Good Hack!'.
Not only will you again have the chance to participate in workshops
and the mainly security and networking-focused talks, but also get
your hands on some hardware hacking, join in to various activities, or
try your luck in the infamous challenge of PacketWars(tm). However
much seriousness or amusement you bring into this, we'll make sure you
get an overview of today's state-of-the-art technologies, insight into
a bunch of the best hackers' mindsets, and learn new things!

"Troopers 08 - get skilled or get owned" is a new two-day conference that brings together some of the brightest minds of the international infosec community. The event will be held on 23rd and 24th april 2008 in Munich/Germany. Keynotes will be given by Dan Bernstein and Christofer Hoff.
There will be two tracks, a kind-of-classical one that we call the "Attack Track" (covering cutting-edge hacktechniques and security discussions) and another one we call the "Defend Track" which mainly addresses ISOs from large organizations and their specific needs and concerns. Additionally a series of (20-30 minute) "Late Night" talks will be held in the evening of april 22nd for those who arrive early and can't wait to get technical input.
This call for papers addresses security researchers interested in sharing their knowledge with other researchers and a high level audience. We would like to invite everyone with special knowledge in breaking security in whatever area or practical experience in securing complex information systems to present their skills.
Speaker Privileges
==================
We will cover the flight costs (limited to EUR 500 for speakers from Europe and US$ 1500 for speakers from other continents) and two nights of accomodation. For sole "late night speakers" no expenses will be covered (but speaker experience will be gained ;-).

--- DeepSec 2012 "Sector v6" - Call for Papers
We are looking for talks and trainings for the DeepSec In-Depth Security
Conference 2012 ("Sector 6"). We invite researchers, developers,
auditors
and everyone else dealing with information security to submit their
work.
We offer slots for talks and workshops, and we encourage everyone
working
on projects to present their results and findings.
First, the venue - we are back in a pub, in the heart of the west end,
with a private room/bar and easy connection to mainline stations etc.
Food is excellent and drinks are at *normal* pub prices (and, most
importantly, they have Guinness)!!!!
Secondly, ROE: we still run on "Fight Club" rules, i.e. "you will talk",
but we're going to make it a bit easier to get started... This year, we
will be limiting the talks to a single full-length
'tek/security/hacking' talk, followed by a single 'fun/other' talk,
which can be any length (if it's really short, we may do two that
month)... Some previous subjects for the 'fun' talks have been:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Over the last 4 years, ShmooCon has grown from a little security
conference to a slightly larger security conference. In 2008, ShmooCon
convinced over 1200 people to come to Washington DC in the wintertime
to talk about technology exploitation, inventive software & hardware
hacks, building advanced defenses, as well as open discussion on a
variety of technology & security topics. We hear there's an
inauguration or something going on in January, but things look pretty
quiet in DC after that. So in an effort to help boost DC's post-
inauguration economy, we decided to have ShmooCon 2009. Once again,
