Windows SMB NTLM Authentication Weak Nonce Vulnerability

2.Vulnerability description
---------------------------

Microsoft Server Message Block (SMB) Protocol is a Microsoft network
file sharing protocol also used for sharing printers, communications
abstractions such as named pipes and mailslots, and performing Remote
Procedure Calls (DCE/RPC over SMB) [1].

NTLM (NT Lan Manager) is a challenge-response authentication protocol

PHP "multipart/form-data" denial of service

request. PHP will need to create those files before the script is
executed and delete them afterwards.

The denial of service condition appears when you create a bunch of
requests, each containing a large number (15000+) of files.
When you send these requests to the web server, the web server collapses
and stops responding because it has to process (create & delete) an
insane number of files in a very short period of time.

Any website that runs PHP and where file uploading is enabled (which is
the default configuration) is vulnerable. You don't need to have a file

[On-line version will be at http://www.postfix.org/CVE-2011-1720.html]

Summary
=======

The Postfix SMTP server has a memory corruption error when the Cyrus
SASL library is used with authentication mechanisms other than PLAIN
and LOGIN (the ANONYMOUS mechanism is unaffected but should not be
enabled for different reasons). See below for instructions to
determine what systems are affected.

Two separate Cisco IOS Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) cross-site
scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities have been reported to Cisco by two
independent researchers. ProCheckup has posted a Security Advisory
titled "XSS on Cisco IOS HTTP Server" posted at

Cisco Security Advisory: Multiple Cisco Products Vulnerable to DNS Cache Poisoning Attacks

due to their use of insufficiently randomized DNS transaction IDs and
UDP source ports in the DNS queries that they produce, which may allow
an attacker to more easily forge DNS answers that can poison DNS caches.

To exploit this vulnerability an attacker must be able to cause a
vulnerable DNS server to perform recursive DNS queries. Therefore, DNS
servers that are only authoritative, or servers where recursion is not
allowed, are not affected.

Cisco has released free software updates that address this vulnerability.

Mtr - remote and local stack overflow - uncomment situation in libresolv.

It is possible to overflow buffor on stack in suid program - mtr. Remote attack
is possible too. Bug is in function which print result of runing program with parametr
'split' (-p). Victim must use DNS which we can control or we can try exploit this
vulnerability by spoofing technique. In remote exploiting this vulnerability we must
know which IP user gave to program - or he must simply run program and argument
must be IP adres which we can controle in DNS server.

Look for this code:

"split.c"
#define MAX_LINE_SIZE  256

Multiple vulnerabilities in ircu

Ircu is the open source IRC server used on Undernet and other IRC networks.
I (Wouter Coekaerts) discovered multiple vulnerabilities in various versions
some time ago, which have all been fixed for some time (since 2.10.12.06)
but not yet made public. Now that servers have had enough time to upgrade,
I feel it's time to do so.
None of these bugs can be abused for arbitrary code execution. Two are about
crashing a server, one about exposing IP addresses, and the effect of the
others stay within IRC: they allow clients to get more privileges on the IRC
network then they are supposed to have.
