ShmooCon and The Shmoo Group are soliciting papers and presentations for the seventh annual ShmooCon.

October 31, 2010 – Papers for preferential first round consideration due
November 30, 2010 – Final due date for all papers
to security. Of course, network-based CTF and lockpicking contest
will still
happen.
We will have a specific session for new works, including slots for new
presenters -i.e. typically people whose personal research are extremely
interesting but who do not usually present at conferences- because
security innovations occur at the fringe of the security industry,
very often by
passionate people, and that's what we are and love. Submissions from

We are looking for original technical presentations in the fields of
information security. Presentations should last a minimum of 60 minutes
and a maximum of two hours and be presented in English.
Please note that presentations that focus on marketing or directly
promoting a company's products will not be accepted.
The bugs in this advisory as well as a number of specific methods to
combine them with insecure Internet Explorer features are discussed in
the paper "Abusing Insecure Features of Internet Explorer"[5].
Exploitation of these vulnerabilities as well as others disclosed

We will be accepting talk proposals until July 1, 2009. All submitted
presentations will be reviewed by the T2 Advisory Board.
SyScan is a non-product, non-vendor biased security conference. It is
the aspiration of SyScan to congregate in Asia the best security experts
in their various fields, to share their research, discovery and
experience with all security enthusiasts in Asia.
Speakers who have presented in previous SyScan conferences are among the
best and brightest in the respective field.
